Monorean Cam Set-up

When setting up your Monorean Cam for the first time, follow these simple steps. You will only have to complete this process once but will need to repeat if you choose to use a new SIM card.

Creating a Monorean Inbox account

Before starting, if you do not have a Monorean Inbox account, you will need to create one by following these steps: Creating a Monorean Inbox Account.

If you already have a Monorean Inbox account, please log in.

Add your CAM to Monorean Inbox

If you cannot see your Monorean Cam in your CAM List after logging into Monorean Inbox, please add it according to these steps: CAM List

Once you have created an account, your CAM will appear automatically. You can have several CAMs registered to your Monorean Inbox account.

Preparing the Control Box

Insert the SIM card in the Control Box

Insert your SIM card into the Monorean Cam Control Box through the slot with the symbol:
The SIM card must be associated with a functional phone number and data plan.

You will need to use a nano-size SIM card Have the number corresponding with your SIM card handy

Turn on the Control Box and enter the PIN

Turn on the Monorean Cam and push the OK button with the symbol: and introduce the SIM PIN number when you see INSERT PIN on the screen. Press OK again () after entering the PIN.

The control box will remember your PIN. Powering on your CAM will take longer if your CAM needs to search for a mobile network.

Control Box Set-up

From your Monorean Inbox account, you will need to start the set-up process.

Once the set-up step is complete, your Monorean Cam will display TAKE A PICTURE on the screen and you can complete the installation to be up-and-running and use Monorean Cam on your exam.

Monorean Cam will remember these settings for future power-ons. You will need to repeat this step if you change SIM cards

If you want to receive the images that Monorean Cam sends in a different Monorean Inbox account, you can unlink your CAM from Monorean Inbox by following the guide here: How to unlink Monorean Cam from Monorean Inbox. Once unlinked, you can add the CAM to a new Monorean Inbox account.

If you are going to dispose or retire your CAM, remember to unlink it first.
