Receive the pictures from your Monorean Cam in Monorean Inbox

Monorean Cam Set-up

If this is the first time you are using your Monorean Cam or you need to change the SIM card, you will need to complete the Monorean Cam set-up from Monorean Inbox.

Before starting the set-up form Monorean Inbox, you will need to prepare the Control Box of the Monorean Cam.

First time with your CAM

If this is your first time using Monorean Cam, from the CAM List, click Connect to your Monorean Cam. You will automatically be directed to the set-up process.

Click on Access

Reconfigure your CAM

If you want to use a new SIM card, you will need to reconfigure your Monorean Cam. Insert your new SIM card into the Control Box, turn it on and access the set-up process. You can access it in two ways:

1: Access from the connection window

From the CAM List, click Access on your Monorean Cam

Click on Access

Monorean Inbox will try to connect to your Monorean Cam, but since you have inserted a new SIM card it will not succeed. Click the Reconfigure your Monorean Cam button and you will automatically be directed to the set-up process.

Connecting to the Monorean Cam

In the image gallery, at the top, you will find the Configure button:

Simply click on it and you will be directed to the set-up process.

Introduction

Once you begin the set-up process, you will be able to see the introduction. Simply click the Start button:

Step 1: Insert the SIM card

In Step 1, insert the SIM card. Once you it is inserted, click Next step:

Step 2: Enter the PIN

In Step 2, turn on the Control Box and enter the PIN. Once you have done so, click Next step:

Step 3: Setting-up the network

Once you arrive to Step 3, you must set-up your SIM provider’s network. There are three ways to do so:

  • Simple Set-up: Step by step guide
    This is the easiest and most recommended way to set-up your Monorean Cam. You will only need to enter the provider and phone number associated with the SIM card you plan to use with Monorean Cam.
  • Advanced Set-up: Step by step guide
    In the case your SIM provider is not on the list, you must enter the network set-up information manually. However, we have an updated list of most mobile network providers from around the globe, so it is likely you will find your provider.
  • Manual Set-up: Step by step guide
    There is a backup system to complete the installation of Monorean Cam in the case that Monorean Inbox has any difficulty connecting or communicating with your Monorean Cam.

Simple set-up will probably be sufficient.

Once the set-up is complete, whether using the simple, advanced or manual modes, on the Monorean Cam screen, you will be able to see RECEIVING CONFIG. Depending on the network status, you may not see it immediately. Wait a maximum of one to two minutes, although generally this will be immediate.

RECEIVING CONFIG may take up to two minutes.

Once you see RECEIVING CONFIG on the screen, your Monorean Cam will reset. After turning on, you will see REACHING SERVER on the screen. Monorean Cam will be initating communication with Monorean Inbox.

If everything has gone well, in just a few moments you will be able to see TAKE A PICTURE on the Monorean Cam screen and Monorean Inbox will take you to the image gallery.

When you see TAKE A PICTURE on your Monorean Cam, it has been set-up correctly.

In the image gallery you can see the Monorean Cam status to ensure it is connected:

Your Monorean Cam is ready and you can start seeing the exam photos arrive in real time.
